On this Veteran’s Day, Lovitt & Touché would like to extend our ‘Thank you’ to all those that have served in our armed forces, past and present. This past weekend, Lovitt & Touché was a proud sponsor of the 5th Annual Honor Walk on Sunday November 8th, in downtown Phoenix. The Honor Walk is the largest fundraising event for the Honor Walk Foundation. Proceeds from this year’s event will help the 670,000 veterans in Arizona dealing with combat stress and in need of transitional housing, along with providing career service, mentoring and professional networking services as they go from “Green to Blue” in the transition into the civilian world. Services are available to all generations and all branches of the military.
Lovitt & Touché employees in attendance Sunday gave meaning to the term “Drive on” as we showed our community spirit and experienced a vintage military aircraft fly-over, color guards, flag folding, wall of veterans and military vehicles/helicopters. Several Lovitt & Touché employees participated in the walk/run as they personally honored themselves, sons/daughters, spouse and other friends and family members that have or are currently serving in our armed forces.
